The first one so let's see how it goes

I have a real passion for cooking and it seems the more I learn about food the more I still need to learn. With my ultimate dream to run my own catering business, I still have a lot to learn!

I want to share my experiments in the hope they will try my food and let me know what you think. With the credit crunch looming I know that we cant all afford the finest olive oil and the freshest herbs and have hours to cook each day. So my recipes are adapted for people on a budget with limited time with few 'weird' items thrown in.

Tomorrow I have a few family members over for dinner and in true Gemma style i'll probably go overboard but i'll add the recipes once I am happy with them.... the plan so far is Pea and Mint soup, Spanish Roast chicken with Patatas Bravas (fried potatoes with tomato sauce) and mini pineapple upside down cakes. I cant wait!!!
